Driveway Paving
A new driveway is a major upgrade for your property, improving both curb appeal and functionality. At Civex Construction, we coordinate the entire process for you — from removal of the old asphalt to grading, base preparation, and final paving. We work with trusted subcontractors who specialize in driveway paving, ensuring the work is done properly, on time, and to a professional standard. Our role is to oversee the project, handle scheduling, and keep everything moving smoothly so you don’t have to manage the details.

01
Removal of Existing Surface
We begin by carefully removing the existing asphalt or concrete surface. This ensures any cracks, potholes, or damage are fully eliminated. Once cleared, we can inspect the base underneath to confirm it’s solid and ready for a fresh start.
02
Base Preparation
A strong driveway starts with a strong foundation. We grade and compact the base to create the proper slope for drainage, adding new gravel or stone where needed. This step is critical to prevent shifting, settling, or water problems down the road.

03
New Surface Installation
With the base ready, we lay down a fresh layer of hot asphalt (or concrete, depending on your preference). Our crew spreads and compacts the material evenly, shaping clean edges and a smooth, durable surface built to withstand Canadian weather.
04
Finishing and Curing
Finally, we complete the finishing work — sealing edges, smoothing out the surface, and making sure every detail is in place. The new driveway is then left to properly cure and harden before vehicles can drive on it, ensuring maximum longevity.
